One thing we feel passionately about is giving back to the community where we can. We are good citizens - contributing helpful, detailed bug reports, patches and improvements back to the appropriate parties. We are primarily integrators rather than coders but that does not stop us - we have public repositories of packages and guides.

This serves several purposes:

• filing good bug reports and bugfixes saves other people's time
• fixing bugs upstream rather than in a forked branch saves us time
• making it easier for other people to use the same tools as us grows the community
• raises awareness of bitcube.co.uk - marketing with benefits to everyone
• it gives us that warm feeling which comes from doing the right thing (tm)
